Family 5K Weekend

Jacob got up early Saturday morning to run in the Smyrna 5K.

Getting a picture with his competition before the run........Uncle Paul.

And Dada needed a picture with the 0 - 2 year old champion pre-race.

Jacob looks excited!

Notice the belly.......it might get across the finish line first.

Fueling up with a banana pre-race.

Jacob checked the tire pressure

and gave strict instructions on how fast the race needed to be run.

Then he got some warm up sprints in.

Final group picture before the race began.

The race photographer got a shot of us!

Jacob smoked the competition and was ready for a donut with Uncle Paul when the race was over.

Uncle Paul was taunting Jacob with delicious donut.  It is a good thing Jacob was buckled in otherwise Uncle Paul might not have had a donut for too long.

Dada congratulates our little champion.

A good stretch.

Even Mama was there this time.

Post-run fueling with an apple! Yum!

And a banana.......don't judge our big appetites.

Then we got in a little dancing.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.  Yeahhhh!

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.  Yeahhhh!  Jacob gets his moves from his Dada.
