Moving

We started our family in this home and we really enjoyed living here.  We had wonderful neighbors and Jacob was very well known on the street.

We were very lucky to sell it to the first couple that came to see it on the first day that we listed it for sale.  We had a little over a month to finish up our new house, pack up 7 years of living and move.  Obviously Katie, wouldn't remember much and Jacob took it all in stride.  In reality, Jacob was happy to see his trains so he would have lived anywhere that his trains were. 

On January 30th we took one last trip to the "old house" to show Jacob that it was empty and also to take a few pictures.  Jacob ran around the rooms, but he was ready to go to the "new house" after a few minutes. 

And even though moving is no fun........we love the new house.  Thanks, Uncle Paul!!!  Jacob and Katie have settled in and most the boxes have been unpacked.  We can even say that most things have been accounted for!!! 

And because Uncle Paul thinks of everything, he took some pictures of the house from the same angle as it was being built.  He is an okay guy!

We are really looking forward to many happy years as a family in this new house!  Maybe soon it will warm up enough for us to get a picture with our new home.

10 Months with Katie

Well, Katie is 10 months old and so very close to crawling.  She scoots herself into a corner or under a chair and cries for help, but she almost has it. We think it will happen any day.

She is as sweet as ever and got completely short changed in her 10th month since we were busy packing and moving.  But look at that smile and those two little teeth on the bottom!  I am pretty sure Dada has already promised her a pony.

Katie is still a petite baby and fits into all her 6 month and under clothes.  She is our little baby

Katie loves the bathtub and gets very excited when she hears the water running.  And oh my goodness does Katie LOVE to splash. She will get in the tub and water flies everywhere.
