First Birthday Party

We had a beautiful weekend for a first birthday party and party we did!  Aunt Denise made the trip into town and our wonderful family joined us for this big occasion.

Jacob was so excited that he couldn't even nap, but he was such a good boy and loved showing off his new walking skills to an audience before he got busy opening presents.

We wasted no time in tearing into the gifts.....Jacob had perfected this skill since Christmas.

The best part of the presents was the paper and bubble wrap!

Surely the presents will be the most important part next year!

Babcia made a beautiful cake, but Jacob wasn't very interested in it or the singing.

 Partying is exhausting!
